As promised (to certain people), I shall now blog about my supper expeditions. Based on the wealth of my experience in this field, I feel it is my civic (and perhaps even moral) duty to inform the general public of the latest happenings in the nooks and crannies of our beloved Singapura between the period of 1 and 5 am (+0800 GMT). Welcome to the first instalment of Supper Sightings!
On a recent stakeout at a particular 24-hr Indian establishment in the Northeast Region of our tropical island-state, Agent V reports that she has discovered the existence of burgers that can actually, believe it or not, HUM.

Behold! Humming Burgers!
On a separate operation, Agent V and her trusty partner, Agent K also discovered Edible Lamps. This unique delicacy goes extremely well with carrots, apparently. However, brave as Agents V and K were, they did not think that their teeth would be able to withstand the tough density of a bite of this rare cuisine. For those who feel up to the challenge, the restaurant that sells Edible Lamps is a Thai-Indian Muslim 24-hr shop found along the same road as the abovementioned Indian establishment.

For the freshest chop of lamp, it is important to check with your chef that the flesh is nicely white and ceramic-looking before grilling.
Also at the same establishment, Astute Agent V noticed several suspicious-looking waiters. These waiters were all carrying large haversacks, highly similar to the ones involved in the London Underground bombings. With great courage and superhuman agility, Agents V and K swiftly subdued these terrorists working under the cover of prata-shop waiters. They also managed to diffuse the various complicated, state-of-the-art, new-generation diabetes-inducing bombs that the terrorist-waiters set up to trap them.

Before leaving the scene of the crime, Agents V and K also discovered ancient chess pieces embedded in fried flour. These ancient chess pieces date way back to the late 16th, early 17th century according to preliminary carbon tests.

Legend has it that Shakespeare, in particular, was very fond of the game of Chesse.
